A Long Island advocate is calling for more representation of neurodiverse people, and he created a special flag just for them.
Josh Mirsky is a 29-year-old member of the New York State Autism Advisory Board who designed a flag to represent the neuro-diverse population.
Mirsky’s flag won out of more than 30 designs in December. It's called the Neuro-Diversity Strength Flag.
Josh tells News 12 the board will be finding funding to market his design.
Neuro-diverse conditions include ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia and more.
