Long Islander and Grammy winner Jimmy Webb paid tribute to his late friend Glenn Campbell at a Sunday night concert in Brookville.
Webb played the country ballads at the Tilles Center show that brought the pair to fame back in the 1960s.
He stopped to tell the audience stories of their time together. Webb said the performance was also a tribute to their friendship.
"When he passed, I said to myself, as long as I can play the piano, Glenn and the songs he recorded and the life he lived will not be forgotten," Webb said.
The concert was a sold out show.
