The Long Island Scottish Games and Highland Festival is back at Old Westbury Gardens after a two-year hiatus.
Thousands came out to celebrate a love of Scotland with food, music and traditional Scottish games.
Vendors sold clothing and goods. Scottish dog breeds also made an appearance.
It was the 60th year organizers held the festival and one of the oldest events on Long Island. It's been in the same location for 20 years.
Organizers say the festival and highland games is a charity with the goal is to educate the public on Scottish history and customs.
