Ceremonies were held across Long Island Saturday to thank war heroes for their bravery, dedication and sacrifices.From long-time veterans to the brand new generation of war heroes, all were commemorated in Great Neck?s Veterans Day parade. Veterans, firefighters and Teddy Roosevelt's Rough Riders marched through the streets, making their way into a park where a dedication was held.World War II veteran Martin Jaszuk remembers his days in the Army long ago. Meanwhile, 26-year-old Specialist Nathaniel Gray thinks of his recent tour of duty in Iraq knowing there may be a day he is asked to return. The Gray family says that makes this Veteran's Day even more meaningful.
