Hundreds of Long Island students will be performing in this year’s NYC St. Patrick's Day parade.
The Central Islip High School Marching Band will be performing for the first time, under the direction teachers Jeremiah Ryan and Kevin Pyle.
135 students from the band got in their last practice on Monday before heading into Manhattan for the annual event.
The group includes drum line, brass, wind instruments, color guard and dancers.
Comsewogue and Amityville’s high school bands will also be stepping off in the parade.
