A late Long Island football player will be honored at Wednesday's Rose Bowl Parade.
Tom Cutinella will be among those remembered on the Donate Life float. The Shoreham-Wading River athlete died five years ago after suffering a traumatic brain injury during a game.
Cutinella registered as an organ donor just months before his death on his 16th birthday.
Tom's portrait, made from spices and coffee, will appear on the float in the California parade.
In October, News 12 aired a series on Tom, his family and his organ recipients. Tom's mother says his legacy will be that of a giver.
