Long Island caregivers who are paid by a state Medicaid program, known as CDPAP, for looking after their loved ones, are growing frustrated.

They say they are running into numerous issues attempting to register with the state's new home care agency, PPL, which will be managing the program going forward.

They are worried they will not be paid, or worse, not be able to continue providing care for others.

PPL says their call center volume has spiked 80% since Monday when a federal judge placed a preliminary injunction on the changes to CDPAP.
