Residents and towns are bracing for another winter blast set to hit Long Island Saturday.
A winter storm warning is in effect from 11 a.m. Saturday to 8 a.m. Sunday. According to News 12 Long Island meteorologist Bill Korbel, parts of the Island could see between 3 to 7 inches of snow throughout Saturday afternoon.
The snow is expected to begin around noon and taper off around midnight. The snow could mix with freezing rain on parts of Long Island, which could help limit snow accumulations. Strong winds are also possible. Temperatures are expected to be in the low- to mid-30s.
