Long Island boy with rare cancer meets and greets police officers

It was a dream come true for a Long Island boy battling a rare form of cancer.
Brody, 9, has been receiving cancer treatments for the past six weeks in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
According to the East Brunswick Police Department, Brody mentioned to his mother that he wanted to “meet a policeman and see a police car.”

Officers were quick to respond, spending some time with Brody and allowing him to play with the siren.
The department posted on Facebook: “Brody, the East Brunswick Police Department has your back in this fight!”
