Sports stars from all over the country go to Glen Cove for a fresh cut.

"I consider us trendsetters," said Brian Basile, sports fanatic and owner of Strong Island Styles. "Our styles are unique; we don't copy anyone."

Basile has been cutting hair fore more than a decade and also travels to teams' locker rooms to give haircuts.

Long Island native and Red Bulls soccer player Mike Grella also is a client of Strong Island Styles.

"He's great, I wish he knew a little more about soccer but we'll get him there," Grella said of Basile.

Of all sports, UFC is Basile's favorite, which makes what happened to him a few months ago the chance of a lifetime for him. He went to Brooklyn to cut Conor McGregor's hair for the mega news conference with Floyd Mayweather leading up to their historic bout.

Basile says he hopes to own multiple shops on Long Island in the next few years. He even has his own hairstyling product.
