Long Beach man creates social distancing blanket for beachgoers

A Long Beach man has come up with an idea to help beachgoers like himself enjoy their surroundings while following social distancing orders.
The Stay Away Blanket measures at 15 x 18 feet with a cutout in the middle for chairs and an umbrella.
Creator Mark Lann says his initial order of 150 blankets sold out quickly.
"The idea just came to me. Create something that would create the barrier to give yourself the space and let others know the distance to keep, and I just drew some things out until something finally worked," says Lann.
The blankets are available for $55 on preorder.
Lann says he taken orders from as far as California and Canada.
