Some Locust Valley students put on a virtual concert to lift people's spirits.
The virtual orchestra is 18 kids and three orchestra teachers all playing together as one.
The students ranged from fifth grade all the way to high school.
The idea came from Locust Valley orchestra teacher AnnMarie Buonaspina. She said she wanted to bring her students together once again.
"They played along with headphones in. They used their phones to record or their Chromebooks to record," she says. "I'm just proud they were able to do such a professional product, just from their houses with their phones.
The students got to string along to "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" with Ms. B on her piano.
