Joseph Piccolo, 61, the owner of Pizzaiola in Oceanside, is now facing charges of forcible touching, endangering the welfare of a child and sexual abuse after an alleged incident with a young employee.
Court documents say it happened at the pizzeria on August 10 around 9:30 p.m.
The court documents say Piccolo asked the victim to come into his private office because he wanted to give them extra money and then closed the door behind them.
Court documents say he then gave the victim $200 in cash and then kissed and touched them.
He's now charged with forcible touching, endangering the welfare of a child and sexual abuse.
People who say they've known Piccolo for years say it's shocking. "Of course it's a shock. He's not the kind of guy, they're not this kind of people," says Mike, a Queens resident. Court documents say Piccolo was arrested five days after the incident.
News 12 reached out to his attorney but hasn't heard back.
