Live Life Better: Fast, filling and healthy breakfast

It is time to talk about breakfast. And today we want to make it fast and filling, but really keep it healthy. So here to help us as well, this coach Corey Rodriguez, your health with Corey Instagram page helps people stay healthy. So we appreciate you joining us to get all of us healthy as well. So let's start here. I I'm guessing this is a smoothie. Yeah, this is a smoothie. It's one of the easiest things to make in the morning. You can make it in just a few minutes and you can even make it for multiple days if you really had to. Ok. So what are we doing to make this fast filling and healthy? So we're trying to build every meal in a balanced way around protein. And then you want to include fiber and healthy fat and antioxidants. Ok. So this one is a collagen one which I'm so interested in because as we age, we really start to lose the collagen. But is this really going to give it back to me? It will to a degree, it's also a good protein source. So you're going to help to build the protein in the smoothie and it's going to help your hair, skin nails and your joints and a lot of people do uh have success when they this OK. So this is going in there. We put that in there. You also have an avocado. Yes. You'd be kind of surprised to hear that an avocado does mix like quite well in smoothies. So you can do like a nut butter or say, but I like to use an avocado because it is super healthy. OK. And then a banana, obviously blueberries. And then how come you chose this organic almond milk? I like almond milk overall for the calories and for how it mixes. But you can use anything. You can use coconut milk, you can, you can use uh regular milk. It really depends on whatever you like. Ok. So next up our breakfast buffet, what do we have here? So this is uh an overnight oats that you can make for several days and prep in the fridge if you had to? Ok. So how am I? How am I doing that? This is uh so you want to always start with regular rolled oats? That's gonna be your base. This is no cooking. You're letting everything kind of soak into the oats and that's gonna actually help me hydrate as well, right? Because all that water is kind of getting in there. Yes, you have hydration, you have fiber from the oats, you have protein itself from a protein powder. That's right here. Everything mixed together and how come you went with the chi chi has helped to absorb some of the liquid and they're also very high in fiber and omega three fast. So that's gonna make me feel full. Yes. Right. What's gonna make it taste good? Overall, the protein powder will kind of help to, to flavor it a bit. But then you have some raspberries but you can use any type of berry or any topping that you like. You can go with, even like some walnuts, anything that you like as a topping to those oats. And it doesn't really matter. Like if I do intermittent fasting or something, it doesn't necessarily matter when I break my fast. The timing of this, it's just that the first meal of the day should be healthy and filling exactly any meal that you start your day with is considered breakfast no matter what, because you're breaking your fast from the previous night. Ok. And last, but not least, what do we have over here? So, over here we have a yogurt bowl. Now you can mix protein powder and yogurt together to make an even more protein rich uh meal. But even, but even like the yogurt itself has a good amount of protein. Ok. So the bottom you went with the Greek yogurt, um and why it's gonna be higher in protein? Ok, then lower in sugar than your regular yogurt. Ok. And then what's this? This is, that, is your healthy fat? It goes very well from a taste perspective in your yogurt. Ok. And, and this is honey. No, great for the immune system gonna be great to have in your yogurt as it gets colder throughout the year. Wow. And I have heard great things about this. You, you like it taste good. I use it almost every single day. Wow. And you Sprinkle that right on top, right on top. And what's that? And this is hemp seeds for additional omega three fats and also more protein. And it gives you a little bit of a nice crunch. And then this is a way protein which is going to mix a little differently. Yeah, this way protein will help to actually make it more of like a creamy consistency versus a plant based protein will kind of make it a little bit more clumpy. And for a lot of people at home, obviously, eggs is a typical choice as well for fast and filling. If you did like a hard boiled egg or something like that, I love eggs. But that's what most people consider when they eat breakfast. So I wanted to give you all no cook options that you can have. That's not just eggs. I love it. Thanks so much, Corey.
