Service issues were being felt on the Babylon, Montauk, Ronkonkoma and West Hempstead branches.

The LIRR says Amtrak crews will work to fix the problem overnight, which will reduce service from Penn Station to Woodside.

The MTA says they do not expect service impacts to Wednesday’s morning rush.
