There is a commuter alert this morning for those who ride the Long Island Rail Road.
Customers who take the Huntington, Port Jefferson, Ronkonkoma and Oyster Bay branches are being advised to expect 10-15 minute delays and some cancellations during today’s morning rush hour.
Trains are also operating at reduced speeds through Mineola as they finish weekend signal work.
The railroad says customers may wish to consider using the Babylon, Hempstead, Montauk or P Washington branches instead.
