There will be extra train service to and from Penn Station on New Year's Eve.
The Long Island Rail Road is increasing service throughout the entire day Thursday.
There will be 13 extra trains leaving Penn Station early Thursday afternoon for those looking to get a head start on their holiday weekend.
Party-goers heading into the city can take advantage of 20 additional westbound trains.
After midnight, 14 extra trains will depart Penn Station.
