More schedule changes go into effect today on the LIRR across five branches to remedy commuter complaints stemming from Grand Central Madison's opening, officials say.
The 7:38 a.m. from Wantagh to Penn Station will now originate from Babylon 15 minutes earlier.
It will be express from Babylon to Wantagh.
The 7:28 a.m. from Grand Central to Far Rockaway will no longer stop at Woodside.
The 5:48 a.m. train from Montauk to Long Island City will now depart at 5:44 a.m.
In the evening, the 5:07 p.m. from Penn Station to Port Washington will run express from Bayside to Great Neck. That means it will not stop at Douglaston or Little Neck.
Officials are urging commuters to check the train time app to see if any of these changes affect your commute.
