An 81-year-old Lindenhurst woman is facing animal cruelty charges.

It comes after the Suffolk Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals says it pulled 13 cats from her home earlier in the week.

Carolyn Rodriguez's Park Avenue home was also condemned.

Suffolk SPCA members were back at the home Thursday in hazmat suits because they say the conditions inside are potentially dangerous.

News 12 is told a 14th cat was found inside alive.

Cat remains were also previously found inside the house.
