The Lindenhurst Union Free School District says 129 more students have gained bus eligibility after they updated their assessment.

The change comes after outrage because some students lost bus privileges due to new mileage calculations.

Some parents found out about a week before the new school year started that their kids would no longer be allowed to take the bus because their homes were ruled outside of the bus boundaries.
