A Lindenhurst boy’s act of kindness toward veterans and active duty service members on Long Island has made him the toast of the town.
Jayden Magliaro, 4, set up a lemonade stand outside his home in Lindenhurst and raised $600 with help from the community.
That money will be donated to the Wounded Warriors – an organization that serves veterans and service members who have suffered an injury or illness.
The boy’s mother, Donna Magliaro, says her son met service members last year and it made an impression on him to do something.
On Friday, the Magliaro family will be providing water to participants in the Soldier Bike Ride from Babylon Town Hall to Overlook Beach.
The Magliaros hope their son continues performing acts of kindness.
