A new movie about the Gilgo Beach murders will be released Saturday. 

Kim Delaney stars as Mari Gilbert, the mother of Shannan Gilbert, in the Lifetime movie, "The Long Island Serial Killer: A Mother's Hunt for Justice."            

The movie digs deep into the still unsolved murders, including Shannan's.

It was filmed in Vancouver, but it follows the events that happened on the South Shore.

The movie premieres Saturday night on Lifetime.
