Many Long Islanders marked the unofficial end of summer by spending Labor Day at the beach.
Many said it was their last chance to get their feet in the sand this summer.
News 12 Long Island's Ken Grimball was at Jones Beach, where beachgoers were enjoying the sunny weather.
News 12 meteorologists say the warm weather will stick around for the rest of the week, with temps in the 80s and high 70s. There will be a chance of showers on Wednesday and Thursday.
