News 12 caught up with some residents in Farmingdale who say that no matter who voters cast their ballots for, they all agree that they want the country to move forward united.
One resident expressed excitement to see a woman, Vice-President elect Kamala Harris, bound for the White House, saying "we needed to get a lady in there."
