The Long Island Expressway has reopened after a dump truck flipped over in Brentwood.

The incident happened around 9:30 p.m. Sunday near exit 53.

Police say the truck was hit from behind by another car and struck the divider and flipped.

A source on the scene says two people inside the crushed cab of the truck were able to crawl out.

Police say no one was seriously hurt.
