Officials say a Long Island woman has been arrested in connection to murder of a North Carolina police officer.
Police arrested Irving Fenner Jr., 23, in Rhode Island for allegedly shooting police Officer Tim Brackeen in North Carolina on Saturday. Brackeen died from his wounds on Monday.
News 12 has learned the suspect's sister, Casey Fenner, of Baldwin, has been arrested for helping her brother flee from North Carolina.
