LI transportation services reopen following Tropical Storm Henri

Ferry service had been suspended since Saturday evening because of the storm.

Long Island transportation services are back running today following Tropical Storm Henri. 
The LIRR and Metro-North are operating on their regular schedules. 
LIRR officials say they took extra precautions to lessen the effects of the heavy rain, shutting down service on the East End.
Suffolk Transit and Suffolk County Accessible Transportation returned to normal service.
Nassau County bus services, NICE Bus were also running on schedule today. The NICE Bus was on or close to schedule during the storm on Sunday. 
Fire Island Ferry service also resumed this morning at 7 a.m. 
Ferry service had been suspended since Saturday evening because of the storm.
