An interfaith meet-and-greet was held Saturday for Catholic and Muslim leaders to take a stand against the Islamic State group.
The event was hosted by the Turkish Cultural Center of Long Island and Our Lady of the Miraculous Church in Wyandanch.
Religious leaders say they want to the community to know that ISIS militants have nothing to do with Islam.
Organizers say the event marked the first in a series of discussions.
