A Freeport mom says her son's Elmo costume was a real Halloween health hazard.
Tiffany Fleming posted pictures on Facebook claiming there was mold inside the head piece of an Elmo costume she ordered from Toys 'R Us online.
Customer service offered her an exchange or refund, but Fleming says it is not enough.
Fleming warns costumes should be checked carefully.
The company officials say they are looking into the claims and believe it is an isolated incident.
