More than 100 immigrant workers rallied in Hempstead Tuesday in support of immigrant rights. The rally is just one in a number of protests taking place nationwide.Protesters are boycotting businesses, schools and work to prove their claim that the U.S. economy would be crippled without them.Supporters of immigrant rights say they are not criminals and deserve fair treatment. They claim that whether or not they?re residence is documented, they deserve to be here.
