(AP) - A New York woman who hid from theNazis in an underground cave in Ukraine is returning there nextweek.
Shunkale Stermer Hochman of Lake Success, onLong Island, was a 9-year-old in 1942 when she and other relativestook shelter in caves, the last one known as Priest's Grotto. Theyhid there until they were liberated in 1944.
Hochman, who's now 74, says she is somewhat fearful of the trip.But she is returning there to prove to her children andgrandchildren that good triumphs over evil.
About 30 people, including some of her relatives, will make thetrip to Ukraine next week. An independent film crew is joining themto chronicle the journey for an upcoming documentary.
