The family of gospel singer Rev. Timothy Wright says their loved one is now conscious and stable after being critically injured in a crash that killed his wife and grandson.
Family members gathered at the Grammy-nominated reverend?s Roosevelt home Monday to update his condition. Wright?s wife Betty and 14-year-old grandson D.J. were killed when police say a wrong-way driver slammed into the car on Interstate 80 in Pennsylvania.
Wright and his passengers were returning from a church conference Friday when the accident occurred.
Wright?s family members say they have not yet told him his wife and grandson died in the crash. They also say they have not made funeral arrangements yet because they want Wright to attend the funerals.
