A Levittown woman was killed and her 10-year-old son was injured during a Christmas Day crash in Maryland.

Maryland troopers say their car drove off a roadway, into a ditch, struck a tree and overturned.

They say the driver, Richard Kleinert, and his son in the back seat were trapped and had to be extracted. The boy was airlifted to the hospital.

The boy's mother, Rebecca Kleinert, 47, was pronounced dead at the scene.
