Less humid, cooler weather moves in; possible stray storm Thursday

WHAT'S NEW:  Tracking showers and thunderstorms late tonight into the Thursday morning commute. Some locally heavy rainfall is possibly early in the morning but no big impacts. A Coastal Flood Advisory is also in effect for the South Shore of Nassau for high tide tonight. Tides about 1 foot above normal could bring some minor flooding to low lying areas.
WHAT'S NEXT: Really nice, dry weather arrives for the weekend. Next chance for some good rain will come in late Monday into Tuesday and our weather could stay unsettled for a few days with seasonable temperatures.

THURSDAY: Morning showers and storms. Becoming partly to mostly sunny during the afternoon with highs near 82. Mostly clear and nice at night with lows near 68.
