The legislative session in Hartford that begins Wednesday is a short session and ends in May.
Lawmakers have only 13 weeks to get their bills passed and this is an election year for governor and all 187 legislative seats.
Governor Ned Lamont is expected to propose a $200 per person election year tax rebate when he recommends his budget adjustments to lawmakers in his State of the State address Wednesday. He is expected to address the legislature at noon.
Other bills expected to come up this session include allowing citizens to sue ICE and protecting kids on social media.
