Officials are warning drivers to expect delays on the Robert Moses Causeway.
Lane closures begin today for repairs near the aging drawbridge.
There will be intermittent closures on the southbound lane between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
The drawbridge will be closed to boaters until most of the work is done, which is expected by the end of the year.
