selection are underway in the trial of the man accused in a deadly shooting at
a Nassau County supermarket.
Gabriel Wilson is accused of opening fire at a Stop & Shop in West Hempstead in 2021, killing a manager and wounding two others.
At the time of the shooting, police say Wilson worked at the
store located on Cherry Valley Road.
Wilson has pleaded not guilty.
If convicted, Wilson faces a maximum of 25 years to life
in prison.
Opening
arguments are expected to begin Monday.
