A jury has convicted a suspected MS-13 gang member of attempted murder.
Officials say Miguel Urias Argueta and two others used a knife, machete and a gun to attack a man in Westbury in 2017.
Prosecutors say the victim was targeted for refusing to join the gang.
Argueta faces up to 40 years in prison when he's sentenced.
Brothers Jose and Fidel Hernandez were also convicted in connection to the case. Jose was sentenced to six years in prison, while Fidel was sentenced to four years in prison.
