The suspect in a gruesome Glen Cove murder was ordered to submit a DNA sample Tuesday.
Police are investigating if 31-year-old Evan Marshall could be connected to other similar unsolved murders throughout the country. Marshall is accused of dismembering 57-year-old Denise Fox in what is being called a psychosexual murder. Fox?s head was found in the trunk of Marshall?s car and her remaining body parts in several trash bins in Marshall?s mother?s basement.
Investigators say the body of a decapitated woman was found in the woods in Manorville in 2003. They say it was the second time in three years a body with missing parts was found dumped in the area. Police are also checking into similar murders in Arizona, Florida and California.
