Officials say a lawsuit at a West Babylon nursing home involving a male stripper will move forward. 

A judge says claims filed against the East Neck Nursing and Rehab Center in West Babylon have merit. 

The family of an 86-year-old resident is suing the facility after it hired a male stripper to entertain residents. 

The center claims the patients asked for the adult entertainment.

The PNC Christmas price index measures the gifts included in the holiday classic, the 12 days of Christmas. Now, the research suggests the cost has now hit a record high because of inflation. They find the pear tree is going to cost 15% more. This Christmas, the price of the partridge did not change. I'm sure the five golden rings didn't have anything to do with it. I was just thinking about, I was going through the list, my golden rings. I wonder what lords are leaving, how much they cost this time of year. And you know, I really realized that we are in the holiday spirit when we saw the flurries yesterday. Yeah, you know, it's that time of year and you know, Thanksgiving was so early this year, next year, it's the 28th. So we're looking at a big change there. We have extra time this year to get into the Holiday Spirit and we had the festive flakes yesterday. A couple of snow shoes, hours flurries and a few squalls yesterday. And now the sunshine, dry, cold weather conditions around the island out there for today. Sunny skies over towards Riverhead as well. Going throughout the day, our friends in Brentwood sunshine this morning, some clouds come in during the afternoon. But notice those hour by hour temperatures only in the upper thirties, you got to have, uh, the gloves, a hat and a scarf, especially if you're going to be working outside all day long. It's been a dry rush for the day. We're going to be looking at some quiet weather through this evening and quiet Nassau County. Seven County, you're looking ok for today. Again, the big story, everyone's talking about the chill, the wind that is just going right through you. So you dress in layers. Now, during our afternoon hours, 345 kids coming home from school running some errands ss are in the mid thirties. Now, one thing I want you to notice you see these arrows, that's our wind direction. Wind is always the direction it's coming from. So this is a west southwest wind and that is indicative of some warmer weather on the way. So overnight, not as cold, we have a dry evening rush hour tomorrow morning, twenties to around 30 degrees and not as bad as a wind coming through. Then going throughout the day on Thursday, mid to upper forties, dry weather. Now, temperatures on Friday, get into the fifties, but a lot more clouds moving on through. Take a look at our weather map. Friday morning. We're in the mid and upper forties here. Then the clouds come in low fifties for highs, showers late in the day. Towards the evening hours. We'll have the wet weather and gone very quickly into your Saturday highs today in the thirties, it is cold for today. Tonight, twenties to around 30 degrees and take a look at the extended forecast.
