A judge denied a motion by a Hempstead woman accused of driving drunk and killing an NYPD officer.
If granted, it would have prevented prosecutors from using what
Jessica Beauvais said at the scene as evidence.
That is, if the case goes to trial, according to the Queen's District Attorney's office.
As
News 12 Long Island reported, police say Beauvais was drunk and high when she crashed into
Officer Anastasios Tsako on the Long Island Expressway.
The officer from East Northport was killed in the 2021 crash.
Beauvais is expected to face a judge again in July.
