? The John F. Kennedy basketball team took on Jamaica Thursday night. It was the first stop in what the Knights hoped would be their rise to the top.
The Jamaica Dolphins put up a fight against the Knights. Shawn Anderson helped Jamaica build an early 11-point lead. JFK senior Dwight Hardy evened up the game. He had 31 points. The Knights dominated from then on.
JFK advanced in the PSAL A Division playoffs with a 57-49 win. The team faces Wadleigh next.
