It looked a lot like Christmas in Washington Township despite the summer heat.
The Gloucester County township hosted its annual Christmas in July celebration at the senior center, where Santa Claus made a special visit to spread holiday cheer.
Seniors received gift bags, gift cards and enjoyed a barbecue and time together during the celebration. Local businesses helped make the event possible by supporting the annual tradition.
The afternoon combined summer fun with a touch of North Pole magic for residents celebrating the holiday months ahead of schedule.
