The Harlem Wizards showed off their moves to children at a summer camp at Hofstra University today.

The Harlem Wizards are a basketball team with skills and performances similar to the Harlem Globetrotters.

Children and staff members even got a chance to see if they could keep up with members of the team. During halftime, 8-year-old Darnell Childs got a good workout playing against the Wizards.

The Wizards visit schools and participate in hundreds of other events throughout the year. Their goal is to have fun and be role models for the kids.

John "Big J" Smith, a 6-foot-9-inch member of the Harlem Wizards, says he enjoys being a part of the team.

"I've already played overseas for six years and traveled to 25 countries for eight years," he told News 12 Long Island.
