The Islanders announced on Monday that Cal Clutterbuck and
Zach Parise signed contract extensions after the 3 p.m. NHL trade deadline.
Clutterbuck, 34, in his ninth season with the Islanders in
his 15-year NHL career, agreed to terms on a two-year deal.
"I'm thrilled to be here for a couple more years with
these guys and this organization," Clutterbuck said on Zoom Monday afternoon,
via the Islanders. "It's home for me."
Parise, 37, signed a one-year deal. He has 834 career
points (401 goals and 433 assists) in 1,120 games in the NHL.
"I'm glad to be staying and finishing things out this
year," Parise said via Zoom on Monday afternoon. "[And I'm] looking
forward to next year again."
