Israeli troops along the border with Lebanon are keeping a watchful eye on Hezbollah soldiers despite a cease-fire that went into effect early Monday.
News 12 Long Island?s Lauren Sivan spoke with troops using a hill near the border for outgoing artillery. The hill is located only miles away from Hezbollah bunkers, which the Israelis say could be the next target for a tank crew.
The soldiers say they know the grim reality of war all too well after a friend was killed by an anti-tank missile last week. They say they hope peace and quiet returns to the region soon, but add Hezbollah is the enemy and they will defend themselves to the end.
