Two members of the Islanders dynasty teams joined more than 7,000 fans for the first-ever viewing party at Nassau Coliseum.
John Tonelli and Denis Potvin were in the house to take in the atmosphere at the Barn.
The fans say despite the loss, they were just happy to be a part of the watch party.
Nassau County Executive Laura Curran said she coordinated with the Islanders so fans could watch the game at the Barn.
Fans attending the watch party had to bring proof of vaccination or have a negative COVID test.
There was also an unvaccinated section for fans.
The Islanders are back at the Coliseum Wednesday for Game 6.
