The Islanders game planned for tonight is in jeopardy after Zdeno Chara tested positive for COVID-19.
Chara is the seventh player on the team to enter the NHL’s COVID protocol.
None of these players will be cleared in time for tonight’s game.
The Isles are supposed to play against the Rangers in the new UBS Arena tonight.
However, the team's president Lou Lamoriello says he's unsure if the game will still be on.
