  • Tampa Bay wins Game 6 in overtime to move on to Stanley Cup Finals
Sept. 17, 11:20 p.m. Anthony Cirelli scored at 13:18 in overtime to give the Lightning a Game 6 victory and advance to the Stanley Cup Finals, ending the Islanders' season.
Sept. 16, 6 p.m.  The captain says his team has to carry their momentum into Game 6 Thursday night.
Sept. 16, 5 p.m. Barry Trotz talks about the human element of hockey after the Isles' celebration following their Game 5 win.
Sept. 16, 12 a.m. Jordan Eberle scored in double overtime to give the Islanders a 2-1 win in Game 5 and force Game 6.
Sept. 13, 8 p.m. The Islanders lost to the Lightning 4-1 today, putting them on the brink of elimination. The series sits at 3-1, with Game 5 Tuesday.
Sept. 12, 8 p.m. Lou Lamoriello has won the General Manager of the Year award.
 
Sept. 11, 11 p.m. The Islanders are on the board in the Conference Finals. New York wins 5-3, but it wasn't easy. Tampa Bay charged back from a 3-1 deficit to tie the game, but Brock Nelson's late goal put the Islanders ahead for good. Game four is Sunday.
 
Sept. 10, 5:23 p.m. The Lightning's Alex Killlorn was suspended one game for boarding  Brock Nelson during Game 2. Killorn had received a five-minute major and a game misconduct for the hit, which knocked Nelson out of the game temporarily.
 
Sept. 9 10:40 p.m. The Islanders were just seconds away from another OT period, but Tampa's Nikita Kucherov scored with 8 seconds left to win the game 2-1 and put the Isles in a 2-0 hole in the series.
 
Sept. 9, 1:06 p.m. Lou Lamoriello has been named a finalist for the GM of the year award.
 
Sept. 8, 6:30 p.m. Islanders broadcaster Brendan Burke jumps on Talking Sports to talk about his thoughts on Game 1, who he thinks should be between the pipes for Game 2 and what it's like watching the game from his couch.

Sept. 7, 10:43 p.m. The Tampa Bay Lightning made easy work of the Islanders with an 8-2 win in Game 1. Their next matchup is Wednesday.

Sept. 5, 10 p.m.  The Islanders shut out the Flyers in Game 7 and will move on to the Eastern Conference Finals. It is the Isles' first conference finals appearance since 1993. Brock Nelson had a goal and two assists in the 4-0 win. Thomas Greiss recorded the shutout.
 
Sept. 4, 9 p.m. News 12 Sports' Jamie Stuart and Rob Del Muro previewed Game 7, and took viewer questions about what they expect, including predictions from both of them.
Sept. 3 11 p.m. The Islanders lost in double overtime to the Flyers, 5-4, sending the game to a decisive Game 7 Saturday night. After seven goals in the first two periods, it look 35 minutes of overtime periods for the tie to be broken.

Sept. 1, 10:19 p.m. The Islanders battled back late to tie it up and force overtime, but it wasn't enough as the Flyers won 4-3 following an overtime goal by Scott Laughton.
 
Sept. 1, 3:43 p.m. Though the Islanders are one win away from the Eastern Conference finals, Islanders captain warned against daydreaming about future series and said the team must focus on the task at hand.
