Islanders organist Paul Cartier may be following the team to Brooklyn next year.
Cartier started playing the organ with the Isles back in 1979, and worked during the team's Stanley Cup dynasty. After some time away, he has worked the last 14 years at the Coliseum.
He packed up his organ and played all night in Brooklyn Friday, as the Islanders got their first win ever at the Barclays Center. He says many venues use recordings in place of actual organ music.
Cartier says he would like to continue making music with the team at Barclays when they relocate there next season, but there is no official word on if that will happen yet.
